Modern Foreign Languages

Bonjour! Guten Tag!

Welcome to Modern Languages at Idsall School.

Languages work! Speaking another language can help you get ahead in your perfect job in the future. Employers and universities are increasingly looking for people with language skills. Being able to speak a language can help you to broaden your horizons, make new friends and have experiences that will benefit you throughout your life.

Modern Languages at Key Stage 3

Students will learn either French or German.  We use a range of materials in our lessons to bring the languages alive – websites, video clips, music, PowerPoints, Kerboodle, Active Learn and books.
