    Congratulations to our Idsall Entrepreneurs - Corin, Neave, Ollie and Izzy, and everybody else who have been taking part in the weekly Enterprise competitions with 'The Inspirational Learning Group'.

  • Year 7-Future Careers and Ideal Jobs

    Year 7 students are breaking up their online learning by considering what their future career and ideal job is. They are producing presentations, letters, posters, animations or anything of their choice to display this. School will then use this information to help guide, support and facilitate students over the next 4 years through lessons, visits to and from employers and assemblies. Well done everybody. We look forward to reading your career aspirations.

  • Carnegie-Review Books Online

    Carnegie is an annual 'Children's Book Award' and is a major event on our School Library calendar. This year students can participate remotely, if they are interested in reading the Carnegie books and then writing reviews by logging on as follows:

  • Corin-Year 8 Winner-'Inspirational Learning Group'-National Weekly Competition

    Idsall students are continuing to send in entries for the national 'Inspirational Learning Group' weekly competition for all students in Years 7-9. We are receiving some fantastic video clips and ideas and are very proud of them all for their hard work and effort!  

    Corin in Year 8 win with her entry for the challenge below: 

     “This week we are asking students to create a brand-new label that could be wrapped around a tin of beans in order to try and sell the product. We are looking for an imaginative label to showcase the product and its contents."

    I'm sure that you'll all agree that Corin's product is an original idea and the video is extremely well executed-movie director of the future?

  • The Biggest Worldwide Virtual Author Visit Ever by best-selling author Chris Bradford

    Dear Parents and Carers, 

    We had Chris Bradford at Idsall a few years ago and he was excellent. Our Y7 and Y8s were all trying out his bodyguard and Samurai moves for days after. And, obviously, reading his books.

    He’s now trying to break a world record, and it’ll be educational and fun. And there’s a free virtual book, too.
